What is Cubfest?

Cubfest is a one-day, high-energy family adventure where kids can race, build, play, explore, and experience the fun of Scouting. Whether your family is already part of Scouting or just looking for something new, Cubfest is for you—so bring a friend and share the adventure together.

Families from across the region will gather at Pocono Raceway for an action-packed day designed for kids in grades K–5. It’s the perfect opportunity to introduce children to new experiences, spark new interests, and step outside their everyday routine in a fun and exciting way.

From hands-on activities and racing-themed challenges to interactive games and skill-building experiences, Cubfest gives kids the chance to try something different, meet new friends, and discover what they’re capable of.

More than just a day of fun, Cubfest is about creating lasting memories with family and friends while experiencing the adventure, confidence, and community that make Scouting special.

Open to current Scouts, friends, and families brand new to Scouting, Cubfest is where new friendships begin, new adventures start, and memories are made.

Known for its high-speed action and unforgettable experiences, the raceway sets the perfect stage for a day that’s all about energy, adventure, and fun for the whole family.

With a racing-inspired theme woven throughout the event, kids won’t just watch the action—they’ll be part of it. From hands-on activities and interactive challenges to wide-open spaces that allow for big experiences, Pocono Raceway gives Cubfest the room to go beyond a typical event and create something truly special.

This unique setting transforms Cubfest into more than just a day out—it becomes a large-scale, immersive experience where families can explore, play, and make memories in a place they’ll be talking about long after the day is over.

Do I need to be in Scouting to attend?
No. Cubfest is open to current Scouting families, friends, and families who are brand new to Scouting.

What ages is this for?
Cubfest is designed for children in grades K–5 and their families.

Is registration open?
Not yet. Families can join the interest list now to receive updates.

Can current Scouts bring a friend?
Yes. Current families are encouraged to bring a friend.
